With a strong Greek heritage myself, I aimed to blend traditional elements like blue and white, decorative typography, and patterns into a modern concept for a restaurant in Los Angeles. The backstory imagines a Greek immigrant-founded eatery in the 1970s named Persefoni's, emphasizing authentic dishes with real ingredients. Since a 2019 update, it features renovated spaces, rebranding, and modernized dishes. The menu reflects this fusion of modern and traditional, with a logo combining both, and a handcrafted pattern inspired by Mediterranean designs.
