The concept of GalPal was born out of a desire to offer a platform for women navigating the challenges of settling into a new city, facilitating connections and friendships. Whether users sought to forge new relationships or simply discover the finest recommendations and upcoming events in their unfamiliar surroundings, GalPal aimed to be the go-to solution.
Drawing inspiration from similar applications like bumble bff and yelp, I aspired to merge their commendable features into a singular, cohesive app. Infusing my own design elements and unique features, I aimed to create a seamlessly integrated and user-friendly experience for individuals navigating the social landscape of a new city.
