Aloha Kai Surfclub emerged as a brand inspired by the initial infographic presented below. I decided to create an infographic centered around surfing—an introductory guide encompassing various aspects of the sport. Given my limited knowledge about surfing at the project's outset, I aimed to produce a poster that serves as a beginner's guide, incorporating a retro vibe with illustrative elements while maintaining a minimalistic aesthetic.
When conceptualizing Aloha Kai, translating to "Love of the Sea," my aim was to capture the essence of the groovy, retro surfing lifestyle in a modern manner that appeals to younger generations. This Surfer Girl Pack is what a starter kit could look like who someone who is just getting into the surfing world or a current surfer who wants a cute essentials kit.
